I had also expected the novel to be full of adventure and entertainment, but the thing I did not know was that it dealt with the arguable issue of slavery. One example is Mark Twains The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a novel about the journey of a thirteen-year-old boy named Huck, who fabricates his own death to run away with an escaped slave named Jim.
