When her husband became President of the United States, Eleanor Roosevelt transformed the role of First Lady by taking an active role in the work of her husband, Franklin. Marion Dickerman and, nancy Cook, which they sold back to Eleanor in 1947 and a large two-story stuccoed building that housed.
