And although standing can be practiced longer, it's usually too uncomfortable for the novice to maintain for long periods. It may seem strange, but I feel happiest when sitting in perfect silence. And since the History of Aristophanes vipassana can be done while moving the body, advanced students can practice mindfulness anywhere, under any circumstances, not only during formal meditation sessions. And even though you use the mental label "sitting remember to focus on the actual posture, not the word itself. You want to find a posture that allows you to sit with a balanced, tall, and straight posture. L've been searching for something to show me how to meditate for quite some time, and this article was the first useful one that l found.
